Setup for Android :

Simply, follow the following procedure, step by step :

Install the software on your device (link buttons below)

Download & Install LK8000 for Android

Enable Connectivity mode of your leGPSBip via the Configurator

Still in the Configurator :

  1. set the auto power off to the maximum time
  2. change GPS frequency to 1Hz

Enable connectivity from the Configurator

Turn the tablet ON and start the software.

Connect your leGPSBip to your tablet using the provided micro USB OTG cable

Then, only when the software is running, turn ON your leGPSBip

Parameters for LK8000 on Android

In Fly mode

Click on Menu > Config > Config 1/3 > LK8000 setup > Device setup

Device A :

Name : GPSBip

Port : USB:16D0:0BA9

(Note : if this port is not displayed, go back to main screen and wait until “Restarting Comm Port”, then go back to config menu)

Baudrate: 4800 (not important)

Go back to the main screen an wait at least 45sec for the automatic connection
