GPS Logger System
Back home, connect your leGPSBip+ to your computer and visualize your flight path easily ! For each flight, leGPSBip+ records your path in two formats (KML and IGC).
Simply open the KML file with Google Earth and experience your flight again ! The recorded file includes all your stats such as max speed, max altitude, max G-Force, total distance and duration.
The IGC file recorded is FAI-CIVL approved. Use it to declare your flights on your national federation (FFVL, DHV, SHV, USHPA, BHPA, …), or to view it in your favourite tracklog software such as XContest, VisuGPS, IGC Webview, Doarama, …
Smart Speaking Assistant
leGPSBip+ speaks to you in the language of your choice (13 different languages), and provides you with all the necessary information a paragliding pilot needs (altitude, speed, climb rate, time, flight duration, …).
All of that without interfering with the vario, and of course, because every pilot is unique, everything can be configured or disabled.

Instant Vario Technology
Thanks to the Instant Vario Technology, beeps are instantly linked with your senses and make flying more efficient.
This incredible sensitivity and response time is the result of years of research and engineering, using ultrasensitive accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, and cutting edge technologies of fusion sensors for dead reckoning.
The Instant Vario Technology is not gust sensitive (at take-off, and while flying), unlike the conventional pressure sensor variometers (95% of the vario market).
Solar-powered and large battery
Free your mind and go fly without thinking about battery level !
leGPSBip+ is solar powered and for cloudy days, it includes an internal li-polymer battery, with 20% more capacity than the one in leGPSBip1.
The instrument is always charging through its mono-crystalline solar cell (22% efficiency), and thanks to the MPPT (maximum power point tracking) controller. leGPSBip+ charges even when switched OFF, giving you more than 20h autonomy if used without sun*.
In case leGPSBip+ is discharged, you can still use the fast charge on USB : 30min via USB gives you many hours of flying !

Pilot-centered design
When you need to know your altitude or any other flight information, just ask leGPSBip+ by simply double-tapping on it. It has never been so easy, even with enormous mittens !
The design of the resonance chamber (front grid) provides a clearer and louder sound.
For those who like to fly in silence, the ultra-bright LED will help you find the thermals with green/red blinks (400x brighter than leGPSBip1).
leGPSBip+ has been designed for flying, but we also designed it to be easy to use on the ground with only one highly visible button and one LED status. The button has also been designed against unwanted power ON (in the backpack), or power OFF (during flight or take-off).
Every action you do through the button is confirmed by vocal information so you don’t get lost in the parameters. And the voice gives you plenty of information such as take-off detection, satellites acquisition, battery level, etc…
During flight, you will never miss a beep of the vario : vocal information do not interfere with beeps. Both data are audio mixed so you can clearly hear both of them.
And because every detail matters, even the velcro patch has been redesigned with smooth rounded corners !
Build a full featured flight computer
GPS, baro, accelero, and gyro data will be sent to the flight app running on your smartphone.
Currently compatible softwares are : LK8000, XCTrack, and FlyMe.
Now you have an unlimited full featured flight computer.
Stress-free beeps
So we worked hard to make leGPSBip+ as stress-free as possible with smooth beeps yet sensitive so you don’t feel to fly with a morning alarm clock.
leGPSBip+ is small but so powerful
With the Configurator web-app, you can add so much more power to your leGPSBip+ with many other special features.
Enable flight alarms in order to stick to the nearby airspace of your next flight.
Activate the automatic mode of the announce, choose what information you want to hear (altitude, speed, time, climb rate, etc…).
Choose if you want leGPSBip+ to record your flight in KML or IGC format, or both !
And many more features !
All of that can be configured through 1 to 3 different profiles. Let’s say you do three different activities : Hike&Fly, XC flying, tandem. You can set three profiles to match each activity. leGPSBip+ can also record ground-only activities such as hiking or skiing.
Customize the vario tone
You can also customize the special near-thermal tone feature : this indication tone is made of short modulations indicating weak lift, not strong enough to thermal but helping you to find thermal standing nearby (default setting is between -30cm/s and +20cm/s).
